Dry Needling

Dry Needling is a treatment technique whereby a practitioner inserts a sterile, single-use, stainless steel filament needle (acupuncture needle) into a muscle to assist with decreasing pain and improving function through the release of myofascial trigger points (knots in the muscle). The needles contain no liquid and nothing is injected, hence the name ‘Dry Needling”.
